RSF Reports Google News Blocked

Reporters Sans Frontieres reports that Google's news site is blocked in China. Google voluntarily removes blocked links from its Chinese-language news site. This problem highlights the dilemma Google, and many Western companies, face: conform to China's filtering system, or face blocking by that system. ONI has documented China's Google filtering extensively.

opennetinitiative.net is currently (6-Sep-07) blocked in China, so it's all very well talking about it, but as it can't be read in the country itself....
