Herdict Web, the proud child of ONI, has just launched its new Arabic user interface. In the past 24 hours since the launch, the Herdict team has been thrilled to note a high number of reports coming from the Middle East and North Africa, with Saudi Arabia as the front runner.

Saudi Arabia employs pervasive social filtering, as well as significant political filtering and filtering of Internet tools. Perhaps as a reflection of such circumstances, Herdict users in Saudi Arabia are leading the pack in reporting inaccessible sites. You can see all of the reports from Saudi Arabia here. Notably, the top reported sites for Saudi Arabia are local sites.
