Egyptian court bans pornographic Web sites

Egypt's state-run news agency says a court has banned pornographic Web sites, labeling them 'venemous and vile.'

The report says the Cairo-based court issued its ruling Tuesday in response to a case filed by an Islamic lawyer who argued the sites were destructive to Egyptian social values.
