China has banned 100 songs from artists including Lady Gaga, the Backstreet Boys, and Beyonce, stating that the songs "harm the security of state culture must be cleaned up and regulated under the law". Among the list of banned songs are Lady Gaga's "Marry the Night", "Hair", and "Edge of Glory".
